Indonesian Cuisine: Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng)

Source: dapurkobe.com Ingredients: 1 bowl of cooked rice (medium size) 125 gram of raw chicken (you can use any part of the chicken) 1 egg 5 cloves of shallot 3 cloves of garlic 3 fresh red chilies Green onion  1 teaspoon of salt ¼ teaspoon of pepper 2,5 tablespoons of cooking oil Steps: 1. Chop the chicken into small-cube 2. Grind shallots, garlic, and red chilies altogether, you can use either blender or a mortar and pestle. These ingredients are used as spices for Fried Rice 3. Pass cooking oil into a saute pan then saute the ground spices until they become aromatic 4. Add chopped chicken into the pan, stir around to make chicken and spices mixed well 5. Put the salt and pepper into the pan 6. The next one, add cooked rice and stir it until all ingredients perfectly mixed. 7. Once it finished, your fried rice has been ready to be served  

Easy and Tasty Rendang Recipe

Rendang is one of the famous Indonesian cuisines. It's originally from Padang, West Sumatra. Most people like this food because of its unique and distinctive taste. It contains beef mixed with coconut cream and some seasoning. Like other Southeast Asian food, this cuisine also uses typical Southeast Asian spices. If you live outside Southeast Asia, don't worry, you can easily find the seasoning at the Asian grocery. So what things do you need to make it on your own? Check this out!  Ingredients: 100 grams of beef shank ( chop into medium cubes) 2 liters of thin liquid coconut cream (mix a lumpy coconut cream with water up to 2 liters) 4 kaffir lime leaves 2 cm of dried yellow mangosteen 2 stalks of lemongrass (white part only, smashed) Spices: 6 cloves of garlic 250 grams of shallot 350 grams of large-red chili pepper 0,5 teaspoon of nutmeg powder 1 teaspoon of cumin 25 grams of fresh ginger 25 grams of galangal 25 grams fresh turmeric

Kerja Lapangan di PT. Wahanakharisma Flora

Bagi mahasiswa pertanian UGM yang akan menempuh mata kuliah KL (Kerja Lapangan), menentukan tempat KL adalah hal yang paling penting. Mengapa? Karena mahasiswa dibebaskan memilih tempat KL oleh fakultas dengan tujuan untuk melatih kemandirian mahasiswa tersebut. Nah, untuk anak pertanian sendiri tempat KL itu banyak sekali pilihannya mulai dari lembaga pemerintahan, agrowisata, Litbang, hingga perusahaan-perusahaan agribisnis, bahkan KL di Bank juga bisa loo. Ya tentunya pemilihan tempat KL ini juga disesuaikan dengan jurusan masing-masing. Melalui tulisan ini saya ingin berbagi sedikit kisah tentang pengalaman saya KL di Kota Batu. Seperti yang kita ketahui Batu merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata di Jawa Timur. Selain terkenal dengan berbagai wahana wisata, batu juga terkenal akan keindahan alamnya.
